Literally: little pigeons, these are stuffed cabbage rolls that are one of the Polish ethnic group’s best-known ‘display foods’. The ground meat & rice type in tomato sauce is the most common, but there are numerous other varieties, including vegetarian versions. Singular: gołąbek.
