That is what crepes are called in Polish. The most common fillings for these thin pancakes are white curd cheese (twaróg), meat & onion and jam. The naleśniki are often folded into a square and browned in butter. Sour cream is a common topping for all except the meat-filled naleśniki. Singular: naleśnik.
