The hilarious adventures of hapless Private Franek Dolas, a Polish soldier during World War II, begin in October 1939 when Germany is about to invade Poland. Instead of defending the border of his homeland, Dolas misses his train stop and finds himself in Germany. When he nervously takes a pot shot at a German soldier, Dolas is convinced he has started the war. His desperate and desperately funny attempts to get back home must be seen to be believed!
